Due to the home being built in the early 1940's, the home is not ADA friendly.  There are no pets allowed on the premises.  No smoking is allowed inside the home.

The home is approximately 5 blocks from Peninsula Golf Course, less than 1 block from Pioneer tavern, 1 block from Pioneer Chevron.  There are also a few restaurants within walking distance of the home.   The home is approximately 1 mile north from Old Town Long Beach.

The home is approximately 5 blocks away from the end point of the Lewis & Clark Trail.  The end of the trail is marked by a 20 foot bronze replica tree in which Clark carved his initials into the tree.  Clark's tree commemorates the Northwestern most coastal point CPT William Clark reached along the Pacific on the Voyage of Discovery.
